The challenge
Speakers Corner, a communication skills training company specializing in public speaking courses, needed a custom logotype and branding that would resonate with a corporate audience while reflecting the founder, Matt Hyde’s, history in acting. The challenge was to create a brand identity that would stand out in a traditionally old-fashioned industry while still maintaining a professional and credible image.

The approach
To address this challenge, the design process began by considering Matt Hyde’s background in acting. The goal was to create a logotype that not only aligned with his experience but also embodied his unique personality and professionalism. The brand needed to appeal to a corporate audience while subtly integrating elements from the world of acting.

The solution
The final logotype was a powerful representation of Matt Hyde’s dual expertise in acting and public speaking. The design was sleek and modern, breaking away from the old-fashioned norms of the industry. The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the common black uniform worn by stage actors during rehearsals, symbolizing professionalism and seriousness. This was paired with a hint of light blue, a color associated with confidence, calmness, and the throat chakra, which is tied to communication, self-expression, and the ability to speak one's personal truth.

The results
The custom logotype and branding successfully positioned Speakers Corner as a standout company in the communication skills training industry. The branding effectively bridged the gap between the founder's acting background and the corporate audience, creating a strong and memorable visual identity that resonated with clients and reinforced the company's values and expertise in public speaking.
